Simply soak the Cooling Coat in cold water, wring it out, clip it on, and the cooling effect starts immediately. Three layers work together using evaporative cooling technology to regulate your dog's heat:

• Outer silver layer (UPF 50+) — deflects the sun's rays with maximum UV protection
• Middle reservoir layer — holds cool water and activates evaporative cooling, mimicking the body's natural sweating process to cool your dog from the outside in
• Inner mesh layer — a soft, comfortable membrane that cools without wetting your dog's coat
